When debugging the gas-assisted molding process of injection molds, the factors that need attention are:
1. As for the air-pin panel injection mold, when the air needle is pressed into the air release, the imbalance of the air intake is most likely to occur, which makes debugging more difficult. Its main manifestation is shrinkage. The solution is to check the fluency of the gas during deflation;
2. The temperature of the rubber compound is one of the key factors affecting the normal production of injection molds: the quality of gas-assisted molding products is more sensitive to the temperature of the rubber compound. Excessive temperature of the nozzle material will cause product phenomena such as flower blooming and scorching; too low temperature of material will cause cold glue, cold mouth, and block gas needles. The phenomenon reflected by the product is mainly shrinkage and blooming. The solution is to check whether the temperature of the rubber compound is reasonable.
3. Check whether there is any overflow phenomenon when the needle-closing nozzle is returned in the manual state: if this phenomenon indicates that the gas-assisted sealing needle has failed to seal the nozzle. During gas injection, high-pressure gas will flow back into the material pipe. The main phenomenon is that the nozzle is burnt and burned in a large area, and the return time is greatly reduced. When the seal is opened, gas will be discharged. The main solution is to adjust the length of the sealing rod.
4. Check whether the gas-assisted induction switch is sensitive, otherwise it will cause unnecessary losses.
5.Gas-assisted molded products rely on gas to maintain pressure. When the product shrinks, the glue can be appropriately reduced. The main purpose is to reduce the pressure and space inside the product, making it easier for the gas to pierce the thick place to make up the pressure.
